Died: A Brother of J. M. Stafford Falls From a Wagon at Halsey and Expires HALSEY,OR., May 23 – A Mr. Stafford, a well known farmer residing near this city, aged 63 years, fell from a load of hay this forenoon and expired shortly afterwards.  He is a brother of J. M. Stafford, of Mohawk. (Messengers on bicycles left this afternoon at 2 o’clock from J.M. Stafford’s home on Mohawk, 10 miles, to inform him of the sad accident) FINALLY DIED A.M. Stafford Died at Halsey This Morning at 6:30 O’clock HALSEY, May 24 – The first report sent out that A. M. Stafford, a prominent farmer,living two miles east of here, died immediately was a mistake.  He lingered along until 6:30 o’clock this morning when he died.  Hon. J. M .Stafford, of Mohawk, was at his bedside when the final summons came.
