  Obituary: Randolph NY Register, May 30, 1913 MRS. MINERVA STAFFORD Well Known Resident of Kennedy Died Monday Mrs. Minerva Stafford, wife of the late Abel Stafford, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Bell Fuller, in Kennedy Monday morning in the 86th year of her age. Mrs. Stafford was the daughter of the late Seymour and Faithy Saxton and was born in the town of Ellington, September 25, 1824. She was married to Abel Stafford on March 6, 1845. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom are now living, Mrs. Ellen A. Smith, Mrs. Bell Fuller and Mrs. Bertha Phelps, of Kennedy; Orsell Stafford, of Hillsdale, Mich.; Austin Stafford of Kennedy; Mack Stafford of Ellington and Lynn Stafford of Jamestown. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jane Rublee, of Ellington, and a brother, Perry L. Saxton, of Kennedy. Obituary: Buffalo NY Evening News, May 29, 1913 Jamestown, May 28---(Special) Mrs. Minerva Stafford is dead at her home at Kennedy. She was in her 89th year. Seven children survive, Mrs. Ellen A. Smith, Mrs. Belle Fuller, Mrs. Bertha Phelps, of Kennedy; Orsell Stafford of Hillsdale, Mich.; Austin Stafford, of Kennedy; Mark Stafford, of Ellington and Lynn Stafford, of Jamestown; also a sister and a brother. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the family home.  Buried: Lot 27.
