  She was born in Stockport, England, but had been a resident of Ilion for 23 years. On June 2, 1870 she was married to Benjamin Stafford in Ilion. She died of typhoid fevers. Besides her husband she is survived by one step-son, Walter Stafford and one step-daughter, Jane.
