  Mrs Lila Polhemus aged 55 years wife of Homer polhemus died about 5' oclock in the morning at home 702 Clinton street after a lingering illness. she was born in Rollin township and lived all her life in the county, lived in Adrian for 10 years. been in poor health for 10 years. survivors are husband and two sons Earl and Floyd Polhemus both of Adrian, two sisters Mrs Stella Hemon of Hillsdale and Mrs Myrtle Carroll of Jackson and a brother Edward Stafford was born to George S. and Sarah E. (Weaver) Stafford they preceded her in death George 1852-1916 and Sarah 1850-1934.
