  Children: Donovan Leander Bowersox (1913 - 1957)* Winston LaVon Bowersox (1922 - 2005)* Belleville (KS) Telescope - 2 Mar 1967 Nora Mae Bowersox Nora Mae Bowersox, daughter of Sam and Rose Stafford, was born Jan. 16, 1884 near Republic, Kan., and passed away Feb. 24, 1967 in Republic County hospital, Belleville at the age of 83 years, one month and eight days. She received her education in the Liberty Center school. On March 31, 1909 she was united in marriage to Lee Bowersox. Three sons were came to this union. The family farmed in Union Twp. Following the death of her husband in 1954 she moved to Belleville where she lived. She is survived by one son LaVon and wife, one sister, Mrs. Emil Nelson, Belleville, brother Clarence Stafford, Imperial, Neb., eight grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
