Robert George Milner

Robert George Milner, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Milner, was born June 6, 1876, on his father's homestead near Belleville, and departed this life September 17, 1973, at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 11 days.
He spent his entire life on a farm near the home where he was born. He was educated in the schools of Republic county, and took a business course in Valpariso, Ind. Although handicapped, he always took a prominent part in the community.
He was converted and joined the Methodist church at the age of 21. He was united in marriage to Maud Stafford February 24, 1807, and to this union were born eight children, two of which preceded him in death; Leo departed this life in World War I and Mrs. Pearl Kuhlman passed away November 21, 1942.
Left to mourn his departure are his wife Maud; one daughter Eva of North Loup, Neb.; five sons, Lawrence of Imperial, Neb., John of Belleville, Edwin of Wray, Colo., Sam of the Army Air Corps at Miami Beach, Fla., and Max of Republic; 31 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also one brother and four sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
