  Belleville (KS) Telescope - 18 Feb 1954 LEE BOWERSOX David Lee Bowersox, son of Jerome and Sarah Bowersox, was born on November 29, 1880, in Republic County, and passed away at his home in Union Valley, on February 11, 1954, at the age of 73 years, two months and 12 days. As a boy he attended Union Valley school. He was married Nora Mae Stafford on March 31, 1909. To this union was born three children: Lawrence, Don and LaVon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife Mae, his sons Lawrence of Hughes Springs, Texas, Don of Bakersfield, Calif., LaVon of Belleville, also five grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
