  George and Lucinda Stafford are my GGG-granduncle and aunt. Lucinda Stafford is the former Lucinda Jane Belcher, daughter of Berry and Jane (Trimble) Belcher of Orange Co, IN. Lucinda and her oldest brother, Moses Jackson Belcher, were living with their aunt and uncle, Joseph and Ruth (Walls) Belcher, in 1850 in Calhoun Co, IL. Lucinda married George Stafford in Calhoun Co, IL on 21 July 1854. Her 1st cousin, John Wesley Belcher, son of Joseph and Ruth, married Caroline S. Stafford on 6 May 1852 in Jersey Co, IL and I believe that George and Caroline were possibly siblings. Caroline was born @1835 Stephen Tuttle Census: 1850. Listed as George Stafford, a lumberman with wife Susanah, children Alfred, William H. & John., Mary J. Banfer age 6 b. IL, Soloman Banfer age 18 b. OH, brother Washington Stafford age 25 b. IL and Daniel Waltz age 33 b. PA. 1870. Listed as George Stafford, a farmer, with wife Lucinda J. and children William H., John H., Anna B, Oliver, William O. and Eddie age 5 mo. 1880. Precinct 4.
