  From Saginaw News obituary: Luella May Stafford passed away Tuesday, October 29, 1996 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Age 75 years.  Luella May Ward was born September 19, 1921 in Birch Run and had been a lifelong Birch Run resident. She married Darwin Stafford on June 29, 1940 in Birch Run. He survives her. She was a member of Birch Run United Methodist Church and a life member of the Vienna 283 O.E.S.  Surviving are five sons and one daughter and spouses, Loretta (Robert) Thompson of Mt. Morris; Ernest (Julia) Stafford of Davison; Darwin (Nancy) Stafford of Birch Run; James (Laura) Stafford of Vassar; Kenneth (Cheryl) Stafford of Frankenmuth; Charles (Sue) Stafford of Genesee, Mich.;...three sisters, Thelma Koshaba of Flint; Dorothea (Walt) Green of Hale; Elva Jean (Dan)Parker of Mt.
