Buried:
- Died Monday, May 28, 1990, at 11:50 p.m. at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, New Orleans. He was 77, a native and resident of Walker. He was a retired forester and farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, 5 to 11 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Mike Hegwood and the Rev. Gerald Hull. Interment in Hiram Stafford Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Lillie Stafford; a stepdaughter, Athelea Hall, Walker; two sons, Clyde Keith Stafford Sr., Satsuma, and Bowers Troy Stafford Sr., Livingston; three stepsons, Stanley McLin Jr., Elwood McLin Sr. and Max McLin, all of Walker; two sisters, Stevie Milton and Velma Deurouen, both of Walker; a brother, Aldolph [sic Adolphus] Stafford, Walker; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
