Buried:
- Died 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 63, a native of Denham Springs and a resident of Satsuma. She was a retired Louisiana state accountant.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 9 a.m. to religious services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Boyd Hood and the Rev. Merelin McCon. Burial in Hiram Stafford Cemetery.
Survived by two daughters, Jennifer Stafford McCauley, Mamou, and Teresa Stafford Wisdom, Satsuma; four sisters, Willie R. Fore, False River, Shirley R. Pritchett, Winnie Lee R. Lockhart and Cecil R. Kelleher, all of Denham Springs; and three grandchildren, Matthew Thane Wisdom and Jolie Claire Cornay, both of Satsuma, and Laura Kaitlin McCauley, Mamou.
Preceded in death by husband, Raymond Stafford; parents, Emmett and Emma Gertrude Courtney Roberts; four sisters, Anaise R. Minor, Bennie R. Lipscomb, Gulielma R. Howze and Lucille R. Averette; and two brothers, Kernie B. Roberts and Demar Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Sam Collins, Hiram Stafford, Matthew Wisdom, Joe Drehere, John DeFreese and Doug Saul. She was a member of Amite Baptist Church, Denham Springs, and A.A.
