He was retired from Exxon Company USA and U.S. Army veteran of World War I. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Billy Minyard. Burial in Stafford Cemetery, Satsuma. Survived by wife, Ethel Ophelia Carter, Baker; a son and daughter-in-law, B. Marvin and Jo Ann Carter, Baker; and two grandchildren, Michael and Kevin Carter, both of Baker. He was a member of Weller Avenue Baptist Church. Published in The Advocate, January 2, 1989
