14 October 1851
"Know all men by these presents that I, Walker Eskridge have this day
conveyed for the consideration of ten dimes (?) to ____me. All the tract
of lands and a negro girl named Julia and all her future increase which
came to my present wife, formerly Sally Stafford from her fathers estate.
Also all the money due my wife from W. B. Stafford and the money and
property due her from the Estate of her Brother John H. Staffords estate
for the use and benefit of my wife Sally Eskridge and the heirs of her
body to be so used for their comfort as ____ Daniel J. Stafford may think
proper. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
14th day of Oct. 1851. Walker (x) Eskridge"
