Buried:
- Died 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 70, a native of Holden and a resident of Walker.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 9 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Charles McCants. Burial in Hiram Stafford Cemetery, Satsuma.
Survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Ivy and Maxine Day, Walker, Gerald "Pete" and Judy Day, Livingston, Michael and Terry Day, Denham Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Jean) Morgan, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Hilda Patterson, Covington; three brothers, Gerald F. Wascom, Walker, Alex L. Wascom, Krotz Springs, and Steve "Billy" Wascom, Tylertown, Miss.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two aunts, Mrs. Stevie Milton and Mrs. Velma Derouen, both of Walker; an uncle, A.H. Stafford, Walker; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Leve B. Day; parents, Ivy W. and Camilla Wascom; and a brother, Harold L. Wascom Sr. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church.
