Buried:
- Gerald F. Wascom, 77, of Walker, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at Sherwood Manor in Baton Rouge. He served and defended his country in the U.S. Army and his community through his ministry as a pastor as well as many other capacities.
Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, until service, officiated by Dr. Richard Blue. Burial will be at Hiram-Stafford Cemetery in Livingston.
He is survived by his previous wife, Eunice Stevens Wascom; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Sue Wascom, and Mark and Lavonda Wascom; grandchildren, Danielle Wingert and husband Dustin, Tara Roppolo and husband Charles, LCPL John Douglas Wascom and wife Brandi, Melissa Wascom, Joseph Endsley, Sarah Dagley and husband Clint, Kirstin Wascom, and Hannah Wascom; great-grandchildren, Charles and Rebekah Roppolo, Mallory Wingert, Piper Wascom and Seth Dagley; sister, Jean Morgan; and brother, Steve "Billy" Wascom.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Camallia Stafford Wascom; two sisters, Hilda Patterson and Yvonne Day; and two brothers, Harold and Laverne Wascom.
