Obituary:
- MARSHALL --Services for Ethel Sinderella Boerboom, 81, of Marshall, will be today ( November 24, 1999 ) at 10:30 a. m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation is from 9:00 a. m. until time of service. Burial will be in St. Eloi Catholic Cemetery in Ghent. Rehkamp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boerboom died November 20, 1999, at Weiner Memorial Medical Center in Marshall. She was born August 4, 1918 in Lyon County to John and Martha (McDaniel) Stafford. She attended rural grade school and graduated from Marshall High School in 1936. She worked for Northwestern Bell until her marriage with John A. Boerboom June 4, 1940 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent. The couple farmed in the Ghent area until retirement in 1976 when they moved to Marshall. She did volunteer work, liked traveling and sewing and she especially enjoyed her family and friends.
Survivors include her son Bennet of Marshall; daughters, Lorette Danielowski of Meyerstown PA., and Doris Hughes of Balaton ,MN; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, three brothers and one sister.
