  Laura Josephine Stafford was a daughter of John Wallace Stafford and Genela L. Reese. She was married tot the late Albert Lee Johnson. She died at her home in Hickory, NC; according to her death certificate, the informant was Mrs. G.N. Ruff. The death certificate notes that she was buried in Dry Ponds Cemetery; however, this is the old name for what is now the Bethel UMC Cemetery.
