Death of Henry E. Yocum.
Henry E. Yocum, aged 66 years, a well-known conductor on the Erie R ailroad, dropped dead on the street at Jamestown, N.Y., about 7 o'clock Wednesday evening. He left Meadville at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, arriving at James town at 6:45 p.m. His death, believed due to heart failure, came almost immediately. Mr. Yocum was a veteran railroad man, having been in the service about 45 years. His home is on Shippen Street, Kerrtown. He was a member of the Brotherhood of RailwayTrainmen, the Order of Railway Conductors and Cussewago Lodge No. 108, I.O.O.F. In all of these fraternal organizations he was faithful and leaves a large number of friends to mourn his sudden death. Mr. Yocum is
survived by his second wife and three daughters - Mrs. Henry Woge, Neason Hill; Mrs. Hugh Nodine, Warren, Ohio, and Mrs. Gaylord Clark, Erie. The remains were bro ught to Meadville on Erie train 5 this morning and taken to the Byham funeral h ome.
