  Mary Louise Hoppe, age 87, of Woodbridge, VA. Called "Sister" by her family, she loved and took care of all her siblings while Pearl and Carrie were working in the fields of East Texas.  She was a Contracting Officer with the FAA until she retired in 1986. She was a veteran of the SPARS (Women's Coast Guard, WWII) and a lifetime member of the DAV. A Graveside Service will be held at National Memorial Park in Falls Church on September 14, at 11:30 am. Husband: John Thomas Hoppe, Jr. (also a disabled veteran) Parents: Purvis Abraham "Pearl" Stafford and Carrie Mae Cook Stafford Siblings: Preston, Joyce, Sidney, Parker, Gilbert, Anne, and Jane Surviving Sons: Mark and James E.
