  Laura nd her husband, Joseph T. Terrell, obtained a marriage license in Howard County, Maryland on Sept. 9, 1923. She was 20 and listed her home as Highland, MD. Joseph was 21 and listed his home as Winston Salem, NC. Laura (SSN #231-42-6138) and Joseph lived in Howard County after their marriage. Laura later settled in Williamsburg, VA in 1931 where she owned and operated the well-known "College Beauty Salon". She continued to reside in Williamsburg until her death.
