  Bill Stafford never married, we have heard that he had a daughter in the muskogee, Okla. But have never seen or heard from her. He lived with his mother Cassie Ola Davis almost all of life. Bill enlised into the U. S. ARMY, August 11, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 39 yrs old. He described himself on his form as a farm worker, had gray eyes, gray hair, ruddy complexion and 6" tall. He received an honerable discharge on April 3, 1943.
