20. Andrew6 PITTS (John, #32); born circa 1720 at Frederick, VA; died fr om 1772 to 1778 at Rowan, NC.
(Note: Moved to NC where he was the first of many generations of Pitts).
The nine known children of Andrew6 Pitts and Martha Stroud (see #21) all b orn at Rowan, NC, were as follows:
i. Mary5; born circa 1742; married Richard Harrold 28 Apr 1770 at New Gard en Monthly Meeting, Guilford, NC.
She lived circa 1800 at IN.
ii. Elizabeth; born between 1743 and 1745; married Thomas Knight 2 Apr 17 70 at Guilford, NC; married at New Garden Monthly Meeting; died after 181 0.
She lived circa 1800 at IN.
iii. Isaac; born 1750; married Mrs Tabitha Pitts circa 1770; died betwe en 1850 and 1855 at Guilford, NC.

v. John; born 1754; married Amelia Crutchfield circa 1780; married Elizabe th Paddison 10 Feb 1813 at Guilford, NC; died 1823.
He left a will in 1823; Probated.
vi. Jonathan; born 12 Apr 1756; married Mrs Winny Pitts circa 1809 at Rowa n, NC; died 11 Jul 1855 at Prestonburg, Floyd, KY, at age 99.
He ended military service circa 1790; Revolutionary War Veteran.
vii. Andrew; born 1765; married Mrs Margaret Pitts circa 1790; died 2 S ep 1845.
He lived in 1805 at IN.
viii. Martha; born between 1767 and 1768; married Cadwallader JONES, s on of Cadwallader JONES and Mrs Sarah Jones, 1785; died 1854.
She lived circa 1810.
ix. William; born circa 1768; died 1795 at Stokes, NC.
21. Martha6 STROUD (Samual, #34); born circa 1725 at Norfolk, VA; marri ed Andrew Pitts (see #20), son of John Pitts and Mrs Elizabth Pitts, cir ca 1750 at Guilford, NC; died 1823 at Stokes, NC.
As of circa 1750, she was also known as Mrs Martha Pitts.
