  Obituary: Winston-Salem Journal (North Carolina) KERNERSVILLE -- Mrs. Vira Stafford Stafford, 109, of 1720 Highway 66 S., d ied Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church Cemeter y. Mrs. Stafford was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker and a l oving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. S he was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Stafford, and two daughters, Helen Idol and Blake Teague. She is survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and two great-gre at-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Saturday at Hanes-Lineberry, Pierce Chapel in Kernersville (NC).
