  Smith was a son of the late Flavious Cornelius and Effie Mae Stafford. He was the beloved husband of Bobbie Faircloth Stafford. Smith and Bobbie were blessed with two children, Randy Lewis Stafford and Susan (Mrs. Bruce Murray). In addition to his wife and children, Smith is survived by brother Richard Stafford and his wife, Molly; James Stafford and his wife, Mary; sisters Grayce Tilly and Maxine Crutchfield. He is also survived by grandchildren Traci Murray. Adam Stafford, Sarah Pike and husband Brad, and Nikki Stanger. One great granddaughter, Addison, also survives, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
