OAK RIDGE - Dorothy (Jack) Nelson, 82, of 1819 Oak Ridge Road, died Wednes day, Nov. 20, 1996, at her home.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Pine Grove United M ethodist Church Cemetery, by Pastor Paul Williamson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the g ravesite.
She was born May 21, 1914, in Guilford County, the daughter of Flavey Corn elius and Effie Florence Smith Stafford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy (Doodie) Nelson; two brother s, Athel Stafford and Colon Stafford.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Mary Stafford of Kerner sville; five sisters, Alma Gray of Oak Ridge, Naomi Mooney of Reidsvill e, Rosalie Smith and Grace Tilley, both of Kernersville, Maxine Crutchfie ld of Greensboro; three brothers, Fairsee Stafford of Kernersville, Smi th Stafford of Reidsville, and Richard Stafford of High Point.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Grove United Methodist Chur ch Cemetery Fund, 1018 Piney Grove Road, Kernersville, N.C. 27284.
