"I hve seen the deed for W. F. Winfree, he has a block of 16 grave sites j ust to the N or where your father (Robert Edward Lee Winfree) and mother a re buried. I have also seen a deed to a Mrs. Robert Winfree, this de ed is confusing. She paid $9.00 for the lot, at that time (10 Sept 191 7) grave sites were selling for $1.00 each and there was a $1.00 service c harge. That would lead you to believe that she bought 8 grave sites, b ut the deed described a triangular plot, into which you can only fit 6 com plete graves. I have not seen a deed to your father Lee Winfree (Robert E dward Lee Winfree), that is why I need a copy of the original deed you hav e. I know who all the Winfree's buried at Mt. Gur with 3 exceptions, a ll are in W. F. Winfree's plot: there is a Jenny (that is all the re is on her stone), a overt Hugh born and died in 1910, a Fred b 26 Aug 1 908 died 13 Apr 1928. Do you know who these folks are and how they fit in to the Winfree family?"
