Full Title: AN ACT to authorise certain Commissioners thereiu named, to es tablish a lottery for the purpose of raising th sum of fifteen thousand do llars, to be appropriated to the building of a Masonic Hall in the to wn of Macon.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of G eorgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authori ty of the same, That it may and shall be lawful for the Commissioners here inafter named, to establish a lottery within one year after the passa ge of this act, to raise the sum of fifteen thousand dollars, under such s cheme and regulations as they or a majority of them may deem necessary a nd proper, for the purpose of building a Masonic Hall within the Town of M acon.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That John T. Rowland, Henry G. Lamar, W illiam J. Dannelly, David Ralston, Thomas King, Asahel R. Freeman, Summ er Stone, Edward Wright, and Robert Birdsong, be and they are hereby appoi nted Commissioners to carry the aforesaid Lettery into effect.
