01 Jan 1704, records of the Established Church show that a Mary Lemar resi ded in Queen Anne Co, MD in the home of Charles LEMAR and his wife Mary. S he was not a daughter according to church records but likely a close relat ive. Harold Dihel Lemar believes she was the daughter of Peter LAMORE/LAMA R.
Taxed up to and still alive in 1750. His estate records have been lost.
Don't know which kids belong to which wife.

According to Lyle LeMasters : "Wheeler, Gallent, J ohn[son of Charles II?], and James LEMAR [son of Charles II?] were on t he 1790 reconstructed MD census for Caroline County. James and John mov ed to KY in the 1790's. The LEMARRs lived in many of the nearby counti es of MD and in Kent Co, DE"
Much of these descendants, especially those of Gallant and Luke Lemar a re from Lyle.

Will of Mary Simmons of Queen Anne's County, 15 Aug 1712 (Liber SC, Fol io 44) lists a bequest of 2 pewter dishes, 2 best plates, to Charles LAM AR [the Elder] to keep in his hands until Charles LAMAR, Jr. comes of ag e. Charles LAMAR, Sr. was the executor of her estate.

12 May 1710, Thomas Everett bound himself as a servant for 3 and 1/2 yea rs to Charles LEMARR for 5,500 pounds of tobacco. ["Queen Anne's County, M aryland", by Fredrick Emory]
5 Dec 1716, Charles made an identure burying from William Earls of Queen A nne County, a part of a tract called "Hawkins' Charkolla", in Queen Anne C ounty in the fork of the Tuckahoe.
He was admin. of QA Accounts (#181) of Thomas Elsberry, Margaret Elsberr y, his widow and Executrix, bond filed 29 Jul 1728
First appears in MD records in 1704 as resident of Queen Anne's County. QA LR E. T. A, p. 210, dtd 8 Sep 1713, and 24 Mar 1713/14 mentions Charles LE MAR witnessing a power of attorney by Charles Marshall to Ann Marshall, h is wife.
He was taxed up to and was still alive in 1750.
Charles LEMAR, Jr. and Sr. are mentioned in Queen Anne's County documen ts petitioning to establish a chapel near Tully's Neck in 1735.
