WHITSETT: Mrs. Florine Greeson Stafford, 81, of 5032 McConnell Road, di ed Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Hope United Chu rch of Christ in Whitsett, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Way ne Nelson and the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the c hurch cemetery.
She was a native of Guilford County and the daughter of the late Gilmer Gr eeson and Susan Andrews Greeson. Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker and taug ht Sunday School for the four year olds at her church for many years. In a ddition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nola Woodar d.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dale Stafford; a daughter, Bec ky Stafford of Eden; one sister, Elaine Neese of Burlington; three brother s, Coy Greeson, Hoy Greeson and Vance Greeson, all of McLeansville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
