- Isaac Messick
In all articles that have been written on Isaac they indicate that he was married twice, with
his first wife being Sarah, and his second wife, Ann Windsor. Stepney Parish records, which
gave his first five children's births, his wife is Sarah. In his will his wife was Ann.
In the book Messick's Ancestoral File, Isaac owned a large amount of land in both,
Worchester County, Maryland, and Sussex County, Deleware. Since the boundaries of these
two counties were in duspute for a number of years, it is possible that the land he acquired in
Worchester County became Sussex later.
