• Notes

  Liddy attended Flora McDonald College and was a graduate of Lees-McRae College. During WWII, she was with the Red Cross in Alaska and Hawaii. She was a former secretary at Kernersville School. Liddy owned and operated the W.C. Stafford Store after her mother, Boyd died. Boyd had taken over the store after her father-in-law, W.C. Stafford died in 1934.
