  Obituary: Weymouth Bradford STAFFORD POWELLS POINT – Weymouth Bradford STAFFORD, 50, died Monday evening in the Albemarle Hospital. He was a native of Elizabeth City. He was the son of Shirley Anderson Stafford COPELAND and the late Ernest Halton STAFFORD and husband of Frances White STAFFORD. He was a supervisor for the Carolina Telephone Company and a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Stingray Anglers Fishing Team. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters: Cheryl MANSFIELD of Shiloh and Lynn BARNHILL of Elizabeth City; one son, Brad STAFFORD, JR. of Powells Point; and one granddaughter, Hannah BARNHILL of Elizabeth City. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Methodist Church by Dr. Art WILT and Rev. M.L. BLOODWORTH. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. Twiford's Memorial Chapel in Elizabeth City is in charge. (The Coastland Times – Thursday, June 8, 1995; pg. 10A)
