Evelyn 16 jun 2005: Evelyn remembers that Aunt Arrie frequently wore a to boggan, indoors or out, summer or winter. She made beautiful quilits, a nd was also an excellent seamstress. Evelyn recalls her mother, Ada, tel ling her that Arrie even made her own wedding dress. Ada's additional co mment on it clearly indicated that Arrie was obviously pregnant on the d ay the dress was worn.
Charles and Arizona appear in the 1910 Census with four children: Elme r, age 6, Louis, age 5, Oscar, age 2, and Mildred. Mildred's age is diffi cult to read, but is a fraction, so she was obviously an infant at the ti me (enumerated on 15 April 1910). On the 1920 Census, only their three so ns appear. It is assumed that Mildred died between 1910 and 1920.
October 2005: Arizona's death certificate indicates that her usual reside nce was 58 Wade Street, Morgantown, WV, but she died at Pugh's Nursing Hom e, rural Morgantown, Monongalia Co., WV, on 3 March 1953, 4:00 a.m. The i nformant of her death was son, Oscar Hennen. Arrie was 81 years old. Fune ral arrangements were handled by Fred L. Jenkins, Morgantown, WV.
