Raymond W. St. Clair
Raymond W. St. Clair, 82, of Warren, Ohio, died Monday, Jan. 29, 200 1, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
He was born Dec. 5, 1918, in Star City, son of the late Raymond W. and Mar tha Stafford St. Clair.
He was a foreman of substation maintenance from Ohio Edison, retiring aft er 32 years on March 1, 1981. He enjoyed caring for his home and lawn a nd liked electrical and carpentry work. He was a Mason and a member of Pro spect Lodge AF&AM of Prospect, Ohio. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, servi ng on the USS Phoenix during the attack. He served with the U.S. Navy fr om 1940-46. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and made a so lo cross-country trip from Ohio to Richland, Wash., to visit his siste r.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married May 30, 1943, Helen Vance S t. Clair; two sons, Thomas R. St. Clair, and Timothy L. St. Clair, bo th of Warren; a sister, AnnaMae Crigler, of Richland; three grandchildr en and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren, f rom 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1. Buri al will be in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
