Another resource states that James Ingram, son of Benjamin Ingram and Mr s. Benjamin Ingram and husband of Mrs. Mary Ingram was born 1732 in Brunsw ick, VA and died December 1792 in Caswell, NC.
There was a James INGRAM, Lieutenant-Colonel (commissioned Nov. 27, 177 6) of the 8th Regiment of the Continental Army (Northampton Co., NC, form ed 1741 from Bertie Co.) during the Revolutionary War under Colonel Jam es ARMSTRONG.
Delegates to Halifax (Convention) November 12, 1776 (to form the NC Consti tution) were Allen JONES, Jeptha ATHERTON, James INGRAM, Howell EDMUNDS, M ajor, Drewry GEE, 2nd Major.

Delegates to Halifax from Northhampton Co., NC (formed 1741 from Bertie Co .) , April 4, 1776 (to form the constitution), were Allen JONES, Jeptha AT HERTON, James INGRAM, Howell EDMUNDS, and Robert PEEBLES.

The number of Texians killed on the field appears to be 6, with three mo re mortally wounded who died subsequently. Kemp's Heroes of San Jacinto sa ys that Benjamin Rice Bingham was mortally wounded early in the batt le 21 April and died the following night (I currently have him list ed as a field casualty based on other records).
According to family legend, George A. Lamb was killed in the first char ge on 21 April. Dr. Mottley, aid to Gen. Rusk, died in the evening of 21 A pril. Trask was mortally wounded serving with Lamar's Cavalry in the skirm ish of 20 April and according to Dr. Labadie who treated him, died sever al weeks later in Galveston.
