Captured at Stephenson's Depot, Va. 2 Ju ly 1864. Confined at Camp Chase, Ohio and released 24 Mar 1865 after taki ng the Oath of Alliegence, lived in Guilford County after 1901 Ivy's Oath of Alliegence was UNION! - A Confederate Deserter
