  Caswell Co., NC Marriage Record for Nelley Stafford to Joseph Forshee 15 April 1784. Bondsman: John Stafford (Her brother John Stafford was too young at this time to be bondsman. Serving as bondsman was John Stafford, her cousin, the Rev. War veteran son of Adam Stafford from Dorchester Co., Maryland, who relocated to Caswell Co., NC on the Rattlesnake River.) Nelley is named in her father Laban Stafford's 1811 Caswell Co., NC Will. Her husband is named as Joseph Feshee. Following by Col. Roger B. Foushee, Jan. 2002 ([email protected]) "Joseph Foushee and Eleanor Stafford married and she was called Nellie. They lived in Chatham County and had no issue. He died 1818 and she died 1838.
