  Aaron Foster Quay, Jr., age 91, of Charlotte, NC, died June 5, 2011 at Taylor Glen in Concord.  Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday, June 8, 201l, at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church at Harrisburg, NC, Reverend Tim Bostick officiating. Interment will be in Harrisburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.  Mr. Quay was born in Cabarrus County, April 20, 1920, son of the late Aaron Foster Quay, Sr. and May Stafford Quay.  He was a member of Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Harrisburg High School, a veteran of WWII and served as a Staff Sergeant in Oakinawa, was a member of Excelsior Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Bodies. Mr. Quay retired as Terminal Operator for Texaco Petroleum Company after 25 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Survivors include nephews, Gerald Quay and wife, Barbara and Lloyd Quay and wife, Mary all of Harrisburg, NC, lifelong friend, Melvin Ross and wife, Angie of Charlotte and a number of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Verne Wood Quay.
