  Cortez is listed in the 1904 St. Paul City Directory, pg 1567, as a laborer renting at 423 E 7th. There are some other Staffords listed there as well. If you have access to Heritagequest, I found the info in R.L. Polk & Co.'s St. Paul city directory, 1904 . I have internet access to Columbus, Ohio's Public Library and found the info through there for free. Cortez is not in the 1909 Directory but Ollie is. R.L. Polk & Co.'s St. Paul city directory, 1909 Pg 1614. The 1912 Directory is listed only through part of the "G"s . Stafford, a widowed flour mill laborer, living with stepson Clifford Stafford, a lunch room helper, and probable brother Alfred H. Stafford, a flour mill laorer.
