  This Adam Stafford and family needs more authentication.. Previously thought to be the son of John Stafford (ref 62865) and Ann Wyatt. John Stafford's will does not mention a son by the name of Adam. Census: Listed as Adams Stafford. Will: His will, dated 26 Aug 1791, makes his son John Executor and mentions his sons Samuel and Stephen and his wife Susannah. Samuel inherited some land. John was to administer the estate until Stephen became 21 and then it was to be divided amongst the sons as John saw fit. Adam signed his will with an X so I believe the will was written for him and the Stephen he is referring to is his 16 year old grandson.
