  Died: BENN, Fern Suddenly at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in her 70th year. Fern Ellen Ruttan, wife of the late Alan Benn. Beloved mother of Audrey Bird (Duane), Napanee; Robert, Kingston; Laurie St. Amand (Michael), Napanee; Alan (Donna), Newburgh; and Edward, Newburgh. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Devon Bird, Alison and Richard St. Amand, and Alysha and Cory Benn. Dear sister of Jean Houston, Brantford; Esther Vankoughnet, Selby. Niece of Muriel Muir, Brantford. Predeceased by her parents, Dorthy and Bert Ruttan and brothers, Harold and Wray. Resting at the Wannamaker-Tierney Funeral Home, Napanee for service in the chapel on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Arthritis Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
