  The Portsmouth Times Portsmouth, Ohio Saturday, 29 August 1964 T.P. FLINDERS (1906-1964) Vanceburg, Ky. - Thomas Perry Flinders, 58, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday at this home at Laurel Point. Death was caused by a heart attack. A retired shoeworker, Flinders is survived by his wife, Mrs. Violet Stafford Flinders; a brother, Ed of Cincinnati; and six sisters, Mrs. helen Copens and Mrs. Margaret Roeder of Cincinnati, Mrs. Lodeena Foster and Mrs. Dorothy McDaniel of Indianapolis, Mrs. Irene Cole of Elizabeth, Tenn, and Mrs. Velnia Osborne of Vanceburg. Funeral services are to be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Vanceburg Christian Church, with Rev. John Hoyt officiating. Burial is to be in the Lewis County Memory Gardens under direction of Dickerson Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
