ELMO G. "JACK" STAFFORD, 74, of Vanceburg, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at 8:40 a.m. at his home, following an extended illness.
Born September 15, 1928, at Camp Dix, he was the son of the late Fielden and Leone Webb Stafford and was the husband of 52 years of Kathleen Burriss Stafford. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and welder, and was a US Army veteran serving as a corporal during the Korean Conflict.
Services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg. Burial was in Liles Cemetery at Camp Dix.
