Notes |
- Jacob, Jr. was living alone in 1850 census, age 40. What happened to his first wife, Elizabeth Walker? Had she died? Since Jacob, Jr. was living alone, he apparently had no children by Elizabeth.
On May 13, 1839 (Davie book I:238) he sold 316 acres to Daniel Wood, his 10/12 share in a tract bequeathed to heirs of his father, Jacob Sheets, deceased. Source: Davie Co., NC project.
Info on Jacob, Jr.'s second wife, Nancy Berryman and their children as well as Jacob, Jr.'s third wife, Martha and their children was furnished by Judy Smith ( [email protected]), a grandaughter of DeWitt Sheets (Jacob, Jr.'s son by his second wife, Nancy Berryman).
