- Henry was a farmer in Rowan County, NC. His Will lists Mary as his wife however she is listed as Elizabeth on the birth and baptism records of two of their children (David and Elizabeth) at the Heidelberg Lutheran Church (Dutchmans Creek Meeting House).
Henry's Will lists three grand children, Levi and Sall Call and David Sheek. It also lists two Negro slaves, Henry and Pemina. It divides his property into shares after the death of his wife.
Was Henry the "Henry Call" who received a NC land grant in 1784.
Two of his sons (David and Joseph) already had sold their interest (1/7 each) in Henry's real property ( 509 acres on Dutchmans Creek adj to William Howard, William Doolin's heirs, John Massey, Wm Sheek, Richmond Hendrix, George Sheek and Thomas West ) to John Call, Jr. for $ 470.00 (believed to be $47.00) and moved to Lincoln County, Tenn. His daughter, Anna Call Williams, also had sold to John Call for $50.00 her 1/7 interest in Henry's real property. (see Davie County land transactions 2:430. Jan. 6,1838 and 2: 431, Aug. 24, 1838).
Henry's remaining real property was sold to William Sheeks for $300.00 and the proceeds were divided among his remaining five heirs (John, Anna, David, Daniel and Margaret). David and Joseph, who had moved to Tennessee, were listed as executors of Henry's Will but John handled that chore in their absence.
