  LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Polly S. Scott, 77, of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Overton County. Family will receive friends today, Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home Ms. Scott died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1933 in Jackson County to the late Grover C. and Lela F. Scott Stafford. Her family includes a daughter, Rebecca Phipps of Rickman; a son, Rick Scott of Rickman; two brothers, James Bruce and Jo Stafford of Louisville, Ky., and Bobby Joe Stafford of Gainesboro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Edna Ruth Jones of Gainesboro and Marian Frances and Vernon Jones of Nashville; two grandsons, Kevin Brown and Joshua Scott; and four great-grandchildren, Sierra and Joshua Dylan Brown and Kayla and Kayce Scott. Bro. Comer McGuire will officiate the services.
