J. C. Rea and Wife and als vs. Joseph Young and als
Complainants stated that William Young died in Giles County duri ng the
year 1865, testate. He died leaving his widow Elizabeth and his childr en,
to wit: Mary J. Wife of J. C. Rea, Martha A. wife of L. B. Erwin, Nancy
E. wife of A. R. Moore, Margaret K. wife of J. C. Burgess, Elizabeth or
Eliz a wife of W. B. Chiles, Amanda wife of John Clark, (T. J. Clark and
wife Lizz ie and Sarah wife of John Lemmons). the last two being
grandchildren and Jose ph, Alfred A., and John Young sons of William
Young, deceased. Elizabeth wido w of testor died in 1885, Joseph and
Alfred A. Young qualified as Executors o f said Will. By the Will of
Testator intended for his children to share equal ly in his estate.
William Young was the owner of 330 acres of land in the 10t h District on
the waters of Bradshaw Creek. 200 acres was sold at the death o f Mr.
Young, 130 acres remained to be sold at the death of widow Elizabeth
Young. Land was sold to W. M. Bradford and W. T. Holly, under orders of
Chanc ery Court. Mary J. Rea and her husband J. C. Rea lived in Vanzant
County, Tex as. Martha A. wife of L. B. Erwin died in Vanzant County,
Texas, September 8, 1888. Martha A. left one son David who was then
thirty five years of age. L. B. Erwin was living in Red River County in
1891. Lizzie Rae who married firs t T. J. Clark, married second C. W.
Edgerton of Vanzant County, Texas on Marc h 12, 1889. A. R. and Amanda
were residing in Red River County, Texas in 1891
