Theda I.(Stafford) Daly of Flint, age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 1002 at Fostrian Manor, Flushing.
...Theda was born in Genesee County MI on January 17, 1919, the daughter of the late Clinton and Kathryn Ann (Tacklebury) Stafford. She resided in the Montrose and Flint areas all of her life. Theda Stafford married George E. Daly on August 6, 1938. She was a charter member of the Calvary Prsbyterian Church, EPC, where she had served on the Board of Deacons. Mrs. Daly was also a member of the East Flint Lions Auxiliary and had served as President. She taught school, but her primary "occupation' was wife, mother and homemaker for her family. Thed is survived by: husband, George E. Daly; daughter, Ruth (Glenn) Livingston of Flint, Mi; grandson, Brian (Cynthia) Kitchen of Flint, Mi; brother, John A. (Viola) Stafford of Montrose, Mi; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Stafford and Vi Stafford, both of Birch Run, Mi; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clinton and Warren Stafford.

DALY, Theda I. (Stafford) - Of Flint, age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Fostrian Manor, Flushing. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, EPC, 6100 Richfield Rd., Flint, Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Entombment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Daly will lie in state at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison, where the family will receive visitors 4-7PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9PM Friday. On Saturday, she will lie in state at the church from 10AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, East Flint Lions Club, the George E. Daly Scholarship Fund or Calvary Presbyterian Church, EPC.
