  From Saginaw News November 9, 1986: Warren A. Stafford passed away Saturday morning, November 8, 1986, at St. Mary's Hospital. Age 64 years. Mr. Stafford was born January 20, 1922, in Montrose, Mich., having lived the remainder of his life in Birch Run. He was married to Phyllis I. Randel on Dec. 3, 1949. She survives him. He was Veteran of WWII, having served in the European theatre and a member of U.A.W. Local #1131. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he had been employed with Universal Engineering for 41 years. Surviving besides his wife are three sons and two daughters: Duane and Gary Bader, both of Birch Run; Danny Bader, Delaware; Judy and Susan Stafford, both of Birch Run...two brothers and one sister, John Stafford, Montrose; Clinton Stafford, Birch Run; Mrs. George Daly, Flint....
