Miller, 23 September1888 in Douglas County, Missouri. There is a William McIntosh, age 22, listed as a cousin, living inJames' home in the 1880 census. During the Civil War, James served in the Northern Army, TennesseeVolunteer Calvary, 5th Regiment, Company L., the same unit as his brother William. He died at his home in Norwood, Wright County, Missouri.
